Check Your Insurance Coverage Before Booking

To make things easier for new patients, you can contact our clinic to confirm whether your insurance plan supports direct billing for physiotherapy treatment.

Our team can help you understand what your insurance may cover, whether a referral is needed, and what your out-of-pocket cost may be.

How Direct Billing Works

Direct billing allows your physiotherapy treatment claims to be submitted directly to your insurance provider when your plan supports it.

When available, this reduces the amount you may need to pay at the time of your visit.

Benefits of Direct Billing

  • Less paperwork for patients
  • Faster insurance claim processing
  • Reduced upfront costs
  • Clearer understanding of coverage

Do You Need a Referral for Physiotherapy?

In Saskatchewan, patients can begin physiotherapy treatment without a doctor’s referral. Patients can book directly with a physiotherapist.

However, some insurance providers may require a referral for reimbursement.

A Referral May Be Required If

  •  Your insurance plan requires physician documentation.

  • Your employer benefits plan requires documentation.

  •  You are coordinating care with another healthcare provider.

Payment Options

If your insurance plan supports direct billing, we will submit eligible claims directly to your provider.

Patients may still be responsible for deductibles, co-payments, or any portion not covered by insurance.
