More about Jason
Jason worked in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, USA for two years after graduating before returning to Saskatoon. Over the years he has had the privilege of working with athletes who went on to play in NCAA Division 1 basketball (mens and womens), football, gymnastics, wrestling, and hockey, and saw many of them regularly between college seasons. He has also worked with and developed programs for athletes who went on to the NFL and NHL.
A former U of S Huskie wrestler, Jason coached wrestling while in Virginia and had two state medalists out of his program. On returning to Saskatoon, he continued to support the wrestling community by volunteering as medical support at many high school, provincial and national open tournaments. Once he became involved with his children's activities, he began coaching hockey and obtained his Development I and High Performance I certifications. He was heavily involved in the hockey community in Saskatoon for 20 years and values the time he had with every player who he had the privilege of coaching.
He is always up to chat about minor hockey and the teams he coached!
Nowadays, when he isn't at the clinic he is either planning or participating in fishing and off-roading trips.

More about Kurtis
Kurtis is, was, and always will be a DEDICATED athlete. He doesn’t understand how to participate in something without giving it his maximal effort. He is an avid mountain biker and if you need to know anything from technical riding to proper gear he is a fountain of knowledge. He is equally obsessed with skiing and snowboarding, both resort trails and back country, and just to round things out for the summer months he is an avid surfer – ocean waves, not boat waves. His most recent passion is ju-jitsu, which he has approached with the same devotion to learning everything he can through books and videos as well as mastering the practical techniques with hours of training per week.
If he isn't here, you know he is either prepping for or participating in one of his sporting passions.
Raschelle Steppan – Physiotherapist
Raschelle has been a physiotherapist since 2008 after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan and joined the Flaman Physiotherapy team in 2015.
She has completed specialized training in temporomandibular disorders (TMJ) and holds a CAFCI designation through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. She is certified in Gunn IMS dry needling and has completed advanced training in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Raschelle obtained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Economics prior to applying into physiotherapy.
More about Raschelle
Raschelle grew up on a farm near Rockford, Saskatchewan. Being from a smaller community, she played every sport that was available. During high school, Raschelle played field lacrosse at a competitive level and was part of the provincial team. When she moved to Saskatoon, she coached in the women’s field lacrosse league.
Her history with sports is what eventually led her into the physical therapy field. Raschelle believes in tailoring treatment to each person’s specific needs and diagnosis.
When she is not at work, Raschelle spends time in the winter skiing in B.C and in the summers mountain biking there. She enjoys travelling as much as she can to all different types of destinations where she can be active hiking, surfing, or exploring. She especially loves all the time she gets to spend with her family in her free time.
Lauren Weisgerber – Physiotherapist
Lauren earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan and also holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Health Studies.
She takes a client-centered approach to rehabilitation by tailoring treatment plans to each patient and empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
More about Lauren
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Lauren grew up with a passion for sports and competing- she danced ballet and pointe for 10 years, swam, played volleyball, ringette, softball, and track and field- competing in Quad throughout high school. She has continued to play competitively for years in an adult ringette league and women's fastpitch league to keep her active year-round. Lauren loves ringette so much, she's decided to give back and share her passion for the sport through coaching youth ringette.
What drove Lauren to become a physiotherapist was her experience as a student at Flaman Physiotherapy! After her first year of her undergraduate degree, she was trying to decide what career path in health care she wanted to pursue. Lauren reached out to Flaman to job shadow and see if physiotherapy would be a good fit. Lauren followed her now colleague, Raschelle, and saw first-hand the impact physiotherapy can have on an individual's quality of life. From that experience, she decided to pursue physiotherapy after her undergraduate degree and ended up working at Flaman Physiotherapy- a full circle moment!
When Lauren isn't working, coaching, or playing sports, she likes to keep busy working out, watching her favorite hockey team- the Pittsburgh Penguins, spending time at her family cabin, or planning her next trip.
Aden Hudec – Physiotherapist
Aden joined the team in 2025. He completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
He enjoys helping patients regain movement, restore function, and maintain long-term physical health through active rehabilitation programs.
More about Aden
Aden is an avid weightlifter and bodybuilder who has always been drawn to the discipline and challenge of the sport. He enjoys working with people who have similar goals and wants to help individuals push their performance to the next level.
Whether it's in the gym or through his online coaching, Aden seeks to give people the tools and education they need to understand their bodies, train hard, and manage pain or injuries so they can keep progressing long term.
He enjoys helping people learn safe and effective ways to put in the work and chase their goals. Outside the weight room, Aden is just as competitive - he has always loved sports and spends his time playing baseball, hockey, and golf whenever he gets the chance.
Training and sport are a big part of how he lives his life, and he enjoys constantly learning more about performance, injury management, and how to help people stay active for the long run.
Makayla Morgan – Office Manager
Makayla joined Flaman Physiotherapy in 2023 and serves as the clinic’s Office Manager.
She ensures each visit runs smoothly, from booking appointments to supporting the physiotherapy team and creating a welcoming clinic environment.
More about Makayla
Makayla grew up in Melfort and moved to Saskatoon in 2019 to continue her education and begin her career. She has since balanced her work in the clinic with her ongoing involvement in sport.
Outside of the clinic, Makayla spends much of her time involved in all-star cheerleading with Prairie Fire Cheerleading, where she competes on a Level 6 team. In 2025, she had the opportunity to attend the Cheerleading Worlds, where her team placed 5th in their category.
As an athlete herself, Makayla understands the importance of injury prevention and recovery to stay healthy and performing at her best. She works tirelessly with our clients to help them get appointments around their busy schedules so they can pursue their wellness goals.
In addition to competing, Makayla is actively involved in coaching high school cheer. She is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment for her athletes, and takes great pride in mentoring young individuals as they build confidence, develop skills, and grow both on and off the mat. Being able to share her experience and love for the sport is one of the most rewarding aspects of her involvement in cheerleading.
In her free time, Makayla enjoys unwinding at home with her Mini Dachshund, Jerzey, taking time to relax and recharge outside of her active routine.
